Another volunteer - this one an old hand at welding - Ray Kocsis. Ray was the welder on the original footbridge which is the base on which the replica bridge is being constructed - so every weld is a familiar one. |

The "spacers" have been placed, (by Dennis and Clell on Sunday, May 15, 2004), as well as four or five of the bridge's flooring boards have been put in place - and additional forms are ready to receive the concrete pour ...! (May 17, 2004) |

The first of three Fischer Concrete trucks arrive to pour the "Walkway of Memories" base to receive the name-etched bricks. A "fully loaded" Fischer Concrete Truck can weigh up to 30 tons!
