Membership
The Friends of the Covered Bridge (FOCB) is involved with community enhancements as those enhancments relate to the Covered Bridge Complex within Sedalia's Centennial Park.
From it's inception, the concept and fact of constructing a replica Covered Bridge has had the community of Sedalia and surrounding communities at the heart of the project. It is the desire of the FOCB to continue in that tradition.
There will be continual and constant interest and effort in anything related to the Covered Bridge Complex, which includes the Replica Covered Bridge, the "Walkway of Memories" and the landscaping thereto associated for and by members of the FOCB. Realizing there are many citizens of Sedalia and surrounding communities that share that same interest, the FOCB welcomes and encourages any interested persons to join our organization.

Membership in the FOCB is totally without cost or membership fee. It is strictly a volunteer group who's focus is non-political and non-religious oriented, without attachment to any other organizations or agencies.

In the non-winter months, the FOCB meetings are held in one of the pavilions within Centennial Park, in the open air with the Replica Covered Bridge in view. The meetings are open to all, and application for membership is just a matter of filling out a simple membership form. All meetings are informal in process and comfortable family atmosphere dominates the proceedings at all times. Members are friendly, open and welcoming to all visitors, guests and potential new members.

We would welcome your presence at any of our meetings, and believe you will find that to join the FOCB will enhance your life and your involvement with our community. If you'd like to submit an application form, you may download and fill out an application from this website.
