Cost estimates are in for the construction of the replica Covered Bridge. Those estimated, presented by Construction Director, Dennis Houk, were made at The Friends of The Covered Bridge monthly board meeting on January 16, 2004. The cost estimate has been established as $20,000.

Labor was obtained through volunteer efforts of those citizens who were interested in the community and wanted to be able to say: "I'm A Bridge Builder". We thank them for their hard work and the belief that the proejct could and should be completed.

Existing, organized community groups are encouraged to volunteer their time, labor and materials toward the maintenance of the covered bridge. For any volunteer efforts, please see the "VOLUNTEER" page on this website.
