March 9, 2004 - HAM AND BEAN DINNER.

Deadline for name-etched brick orders, (in order for them to be placed into the "Walkway of Memories" prior to the July 4, 2004 Covered Bridge Dedication Ceremony) was June 1, 2004. Brick orders will continue to be taken, but bricks after the above date will be placed hereafter only three times in a calendar year.

March 12, 2004, 3:30PM ... GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY

The Friends of The Covered Bridge's Ham and Bean Dinner was held on March 9, 2004. The event was well attended and by every standard, was a rousing success. The event was subsidized by The Heckart Family Foundation, who generously pledged a donation matching 50% of the events profits. We are grateful to all those who supported the event with their attendence, and The Heckart Family Foundation for their welcomed and generous donation to the The Friends of The Covered Bridge.
